About Ideal Bar

Ideal Bar is VEGA’s bar at street level with big windows facing Enghavevej and Rejsbygade. Ideal Bar is an integrated part of VEGA, but the cosy and intimate bar has it’s own life as well.

Ideal Bar has it’s own, often slightly crooked artistic profile. The bar provides a framework for a series of fixed events and clubs which runs from Wednesday to Saturday as well as concerts, which runs under the name Ideal Bar Live.

Ideal Bar Live

A few times every month VEGA presents live concerts in Idear Bar.

At Ideal Bar Live you can enjoy concerts with Danish and international upcoming artists. Bands with huge potential and talent, but who still haven’t reached the level, where they are able to play in Lille VEGA.

At the same time Ideal Bar Live gives bigger artists the possibility to perform in new constellations, and create different and more intimate concerts.

Wednesdays

On selected Wednesdays you can enjoy intimate live sessions at Ideal Bar, when the club "Os To" (The two of us) invites artists to play a different and more intimate set up than they normally would. The focus of the club is to create those magical moments when the interplay between artist and the audience make it seem like there are only two people in the room. Thus the name of the club.

Thursdays

On Thursdays, Ideal Bar offers various club-nights with different musical profiles. As well you can enjoy concerts with upcoming bands and intimate concerts with more established artists.

Fridays - Frankie Teardrop

Frankie Teardrop is VEGA's rock club. Every Friday the four resident dj’s, as well as different guest dj’s, interpret six decades of rock music. Some time the club as well presents live concerts, music documentaries, quiz nights, lectures, and after parties for some of the many concerts in VEGA.

Saturdays – Svedhytten

Every Saturday Svedhytten (The Sweat Loge) delivers everything from groovy tech house to subtle and danceable disco with a twist of the newest and coolest indie and rock remixes.

Wednesdays – 20-01

Saturdays - 22-05

Admission:

Club nights in Ideal bar are normally free. At Ideal Bar Live concerts there is typically an admission between 60 and 80 Dkr. The price includes a beer.

Age Restrictions

There are no age restrictions on concerts in Ideal Bar that start before 22.00.
At club nights in Ideal Bar (Frankie Teardrop, Svedhytten etc.) you have to be over 18 to get in. Photographic ID may be required.
